We enjoyed our stay. We were going to both the casinos and into Memphis, and it was close for both of those areas. The manager was extremely helpful, the rooms really large and comfortable, and a great value. It is in a nice, safe area, and we will definitely stay there again.
The best thing was the waffles that we made in the morning and the surprise of having a kitchenette in our room.
We question whether our bed was changed from the previous guests.
Cost for what you get.
Needed dishes in kitchenette.
Nice clean hotel & room. Friendly staff, decent continental breakfast. Beds could be replaced soon, setting soft in the middle, but not unacceptable.
It was a nice place to stay, the hotel is pretty new and you can still smell the newness of the construction. The bed was comfortable and the staff friendly. If we make another trip to Memphis, tn; we will return. Thanks. :-)
No fruit in the morning continental breakfast.
Magnolia Inn was clean and comfortable; had large tv in the room and good reception; full-size refrigerator, two stove tops, & microwave, but no cooking utensils to go with them. It was a good value for the money, but just the basics. Very basic continental breakfast, no extras; no newspaper; just good clean, comfortable bed and hot shower. We went out for breakfast. Magnolia Inn does allow pets which might be important to some guests; but it is a deterrent for us personally.
No real complaints; it was our last hotel on summer vacation, and it saved us some money; good for a quick night's sleep and shower, but no real amenities. Other hotels in similar price ranges had some components of a hot breakfast, usa Today in the rooms, coffee in the lobby, etc. No one working the checkout desk; we layed keys on the counter and left; couple working the hotel, one apparently at night, one during the day; desk clerk was also managing the continental breakfast. It seemed like they could use more help.
Loved the full size refrigerator and 50in tv. Over all good exp. Wasn't a fan of the ketchup pack style shampoo packets. Had to tear it open with my teeth!
I would definitely stay again and again. The staff was friendly and upbeat. I have no complaints. The rooms were very clean and fresh smelling. The breakfast area was spacious and always stocked. It was very clean. The pool was excellent. This hotel is very well managed and spottless. Security was great. Must have pass key to enter exterior doors at all times. The front door is open during the day but after 10pm it requires the pass key. I would recommend Magnolia Inn and Suites to my friends and family.
I would rate the Magnolia Inn and Suites Olive Branch at the same level of many Holiday Inn Espress hotels I have stayed at on business trips.
Service was prompt and the room was excellent and quite well priced for the ammenities included.
All the staff were wonderful and went out of their way to help me, hotel was clean and rooms were good.
I thought that the hotel was very nice. The price was great. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
I thought that the decor was odd. I didn't really understand why the kitchens were in the room.
Although set back of a main road it was quiet, backing on to woods and with fields to the side. Olive Branch is a small, but lovely town (especially the old town). Happy we weren't staying in Memphis itself as many parts were run down with not a lot to see or do with the exception of the obvious few (Graceland, Sun Studio, Stax, boat cruise, Peabody ducks) Met expectations based on description, price and reviews.
Breakfast - choice was limited to toast, muffins, waffles and cereal, which would have been OK except not topped up regularly, so often things ran out, inc. the basics such as butter, jam, juice (even by early morning) and despite staff being lovely in every other way they seemed reluctant to replenish.
Great price, friendly staff
Lack of provided equipment in kitchenettes
The room had a nice tv
The staff was not friendly and made me feel unwelcome because I was traveling with my dogs. The free "breakfast" consisted only of cold cereal, waffles and a few pastries or you could fix yourself some white toast. There was something spilled on the elevator floor which stayed there during my entire 3 night stay.
